Thank you for making it real! The backlash on women's rights activists is a major blow to decades of struggle for gender equality and women's rights, not just in Ethiopia. In Trump's world homophobia is used as a weapon to rally his MAGA mob against "gender ideology" (whatever that means). No room left for women's reproductive health or rights and no mention of DEI in UN programs. It's a dark world out there. Thanks for sharing Sifter. I look forward to reading more.
